Start a session
Suggested plan: 10–15 minutes each evening. Start with the priority deck. Known words are reviewed after 1, 3, 6, 10, 18 or 30 days; missed words stay due. Context mode uses the 239 priority words with hand-written example sentences.
How to study
Recall flashcards: Try to define the word before revealing the answer. Choose Got it only if you recalled the meaning yourself.
Meaning multiple choice: Select the correct definition from four options. Context-clue challenge: Read a sentence with a missing word and choose the best term. The program scores your response automatically.
After installation from an HTTPS website, the iPhone Home Screen app works offline; no ongoing server connection or sign-in is needed for studying. Progress is stored on this device. Export backups regularly.
For context questions, choose the base vocabulary word even when the sentence uses an inflected form.
